YOU CAN KNOW JESUS and KNOW THAT YOU ARE SAVED!
It is possible to know Jesus as your Savior. You can be saved from your sins! Everyone is saved by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8,9). To access that saving grace, God has instructed everyone to do the following: |

1. Hear the word of God (Romans 10:17).
2. Believe in the word that is preached (Hebrews 11:1,6).
3. Repent (turn away) from your sinful life (Luke 13:3,5). |

4. Confess that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God (Matthew 10:32,33).
5. Be baptized (immersed) for the remission of your sins (Acts 2:38; 22:16).
6. Live a faithful life even unto death (Mark 13:13). |

CHURCH NEWS
This Sunday, Sept. 13, will be Greg’s last Sunday in the pulpit as our preacher. Be sure to be here and wish him well in his retirement.
The Elders are happy to announce that they have offered the preaching position to Nick Genter and he has accepted! Nick’s first Sunday in the pulpit will be Sept. 20.
The next Sunshine Box will go to Alex Swango. Please place “thinking of you” items in the box in the foyer.
Brittany Baker is the College Student of the Month. Please bring items for her during September. |
